A bit far from other tourist spots but not a big deal. Shopping malls are just moments away though.

The proximity to everything. The suite design of the hotel, the balcony, the privacy
The hotel internet access is stuck in the dark ages! No wireless but connected. Who, in this day and age, has no wireless? Apart from that, it did not work whatsoever. Yet I was charged cad 9.95. I called reception to ask for help in getting access and was told there was no expert and I had to come down to use the Business section. This needs to be upgraded and fixed.

Stayed here during the fantastic, world-class Calgary Folk Festival, so proximity to Prince's Island Park was very important and very welcome. Our room faced Chinatown and it was very quiet even with windows open for the lovely cool nights that Calgary has, even in the summer. King- size bed was quite comfortable.
First, a "suite" should have physical separation between living and sleeping areas: a door, in other words. Our "suite" had merely separate areas in one open room. Not what we expected. Second, the hallways were insanely hot, which even in the cool evening is much more than one needs in summer. Affects room temps too.

The front desk was fantastic with everything from check in to ordering takeout. Once we got into the room it was better than expected. Great job all around! I will certainly look into booking again if in Calgary.
